They are so soft and delicious, cinnamon donut holes, regular glazed donuts, and chocolate ganche drizzled with white chocolate.
1 can biscuits any brand mine were the Grands Flaky Biscuits
1/2 inch oil in a large pan I have a deep fryer so that's what I used
Pour about 1/2 inch of canola oil in a large, high-sided skillet. Heat oil to about 350 degrees.
Open biscuits, Using a donut cutter, or use well I used a decorating tip to cut the holes in the center of the donut, cut a hole out of the center of each biscuit, and don't toss the holes make donut holes out of them and sprinkle with the cinnamon mixer. Fry doughnut until golden brown on both sides set on a paper towel to drain any extra oils. Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture or dunk them into your favorite glaze. Enjoy.
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix until well incorporated set aside
2 oz. whipping heavy cream
2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
1/4 cup powder sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Place the chocolate into a small bowl. Heat the cream in a small in the microwave for about 1 min to 1 and 30 seconds. chopped chocolate pour into the hot cream and whisk until smooth. Stir in the vanilla and sugar Whisk well, set aside. Allow the ganche to cool slightly before dunking the donuts into it.
Now for the simple glaze I used 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and poured the heavy cream a little at a time not to much it will be runny so just until you get it a little thinned out to cling onto the donut. whisk until smooth, dunk your donut. set all your donuts out to let the glazes set just a little while so that you don't burn your mouth.
