Pork chops

 Pork chops

4 pork chops

Sprinkle Lemon pepper & Uncle Chris Gourmet Steak Seasoning to taste
1 onion, sliced
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms sliced


1. Season pork chops with Lemon pepper & Uncle Chris Gourmet Steak Seasoning to taste.

2. In a large skillet, brown the chops over medium-high heat until well done. Add the onion and mushrooms, and sauté for 2-3 minute. Serve with a salad and mashed potatoes. Recipe at bottom.



Parmesan Smashed Potatoes

3 lbs. potato, unpeeled

1 TBSP. salt, plus 2 teaspoons

1 1/2 cups half and half or 1 can of evaporate milk

1 stick of butter

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan

1 tsp. ground black pepper


Place the potatoes and 1 tablespoon of salt in a 4-quart saucepan and add cold water to cover. Bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer covered for 25 to 35 minutes or less, until completely tender. Drain.

In a small saucepan, heat the half-and-half or evaporate milk and butter. Put the potatoes into the bowl and smash the potatoes until smooth or less if you like it chunky, Slowly add the hot cream and butter to the potatoes, mixing Parmesan cheese, the remaining salt, and pepper; to taste.
